What Sets Us Apart

At Transition Physical Therapy, we believe pelvic floor care should feel personal, supportive, and empowering.

We know reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, and we’re honored to be part of your healing journey.

One-on-One Care — Every Visit

Every session is private, one-on-one, and focused entirely on you. You’ll always work directly with your physical therapist for a full hour, allowing time to truly listen, assess, treat, and support your goals without feeling rushed.

Specialized Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

We specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy for people in many stages of life — from pregnancy and postpartum to menopause, aging, athletic performance, and general pelvic health concerns.

We help treat a wide variety of concerns, including:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Urinary leakage, urgency, or frequency

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pain with intercourse or intimacy

  • Constipation and bowel dysfunction

  • Core weakness and diastasis recti

  • Tailbone, hip, and low back pain

  • Pregnancy and postpartum recovery

  • Return to exercise and daily activities

  • Pelvic floor tension and coordination issues

Your care is individualized and designed specifically around your symptoms, goals, and lifestyle.

Whole-Body Approach

Pelvic floor symptoms rarely exist in isolation. We look at the full picture — posture, breathing, movement patterns, strength, stress, lifestyle, and nervous system regulation — to help create lasting change rather than simply chasing symptoms.

A Safe, Comfortable Environment

We prioritize education, consent, and collaboration throughout your care. Internal treatment is never required, and you will always understand why a treatment is recommended before moving forward. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable, informed, and supported at every visit.

Support Through Pregnancy & Postpartum

Pregnancy and postpartum bring enormous physical and emotional changes.

We help support:

  • Birth preparation

  • Core and pelvic floor connection

  • Pelvic girdle and low back pain

  • Cesarean recovery

  • Return to exercise

  • Healing after delivery

  • Bladder and bowel symptoms during and after pregnancy

We Want You to Feel Heard

Many of our patients come to us after feeling dismissed or told their symptoms are “normal.” While common, issues like leaking, pelvic pressure, pain, or ongoing symptoms deserve attention and care. We believe you deserve answers, support, and a plan that helps you feel strong and confident again.

Our Goal

We want you to leave feeling empowered in your body — not fearful of movement, exercise, recovery, or daily activities.

Our mission is to help you move better, feel stronger, and return to the things you love with confidence.
